The goals of this addition were extreme elegance for entertaining yet functional and warm for a busy family of six, while also maintaining the historic integrity this spacious addition to a 1920's New England Colonial.

This grand appearance was created with a mixed palette of fine cabinetry, detailed crown mouldings, and an integrated custom hood. In scale with a 12 ft. island, each of these features melded seamlessly with the columns and coffered ceiling in the adjoining family room.
